ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ adopts balanced budget

The Council of Commissioners of the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ has adopted a balanced budget, with revenues of $438.5 million for the 2024-2025 academic year.
As permitted by Budgetary Rules, the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥has included in next year’s budget the equivalent of 15 percent of the adjusted June 30, 2023 accumulated surplus. This will allow the board to benefit from an amount of $9.7 million of additional funds.

With a youth and adult sector population of more than 35,000 students, the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ (EMSB) is the largest English public school board in Quebec.
